Pooja has more than 11 years of experience in education and teaching, including more than 4 years in teacher training. Her background includes a B.Com, B.A., B.Ed, Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Phonics training from CPD College, Grammar training, and a Handwriting Improvement Teacher Training course from a government-certified institute.
Through her work in phonics education, including experience as a phonics teacher with Vedantu, Pooja saw that knowing phonics and knowing how to teach it effectively are not the same thing. That experience helped shape her mission: to empower women and educators with practical teaching skills, confidence and the knowledge to explore meaningful career opportunities through education.
Pooja has trained 250+ educators and received the Hall of Fame Award and Freedom Finisher Award from Siddharth Rajsekar. A glimpse into structured teaching
A sample lesson-plan preview: introduce individual letter sounds, practise blending them, and help children segment the word back into sounds.
Explore /s/, /a/ and /t/ with letter-sound cards.
Bring the sounds together: /s/ /a/ /t/ → sat.
Say “sat”, then listen for and identify each of its three sounds.

Learning resources
Planned attendee resources include worksheets for all seven Phonics groups and a PDF of solutions to mirror-image problems. Availability will be confirmed before the webinar.
Phonics Pupil Book 1 will only be shared with distribution permission; otherwise, an authorised link or permitted alternative will be provided.
